2010 Accomplishments


  • We collected, distributed or re-directed 29,000,000 pounds of food and food products
  • We supported numerous outreaches in the greater Houston area in conjunction with other churches and ministries.
  • Mexico Outreach: We carried food, clothing and household goods to missions in Mexico.
  • Teen Challenge of Texas: We have provided clothing, food, furniture and Christmas presents to the both the men’s and women’s organizations and its residents.
  • With the help of Hermann Memorial Southeast Hospital, Sandelius Instruments, and Banco Herencia, a branch of Wallis State Bank, Payless Shoe Store and several donors we were able to provide 1,000 pair of new shoes to needy children in local schools.
  • Thanksgiving:. We helped individual families by providing 40 food baskets.
  • Christmas: A toy drive was sponsored by the Kroger store at Beltway 8 and Sabo Road. This allowed us to provide 2 toys each for about 5,000 children. During the toy drive several individuals wanted to hear more about our Jesus and 8 families asked for help for their children, which we were able to provide. We also helped the South Belt Leader with their annual food and toy distribution by donating toys and food to them. In addition we gave out about 50 food baskets from the warehouse pantry. And, we were able to help 12 families in Lake Charles, LA with food and toys.
  • We financially helped a Christian family of 12 persons who lost their entire home and furnishings to a fire days before Christmas.
  • We refinanced the warehouse and were able to pay off all vehicles and all credit cards.
  • We refurbished the warehouse: painted the outside of the building and the two containers, installed part of the fencing around the grassy area, had a new sign built, and installed new security lights around the entire building.
