Needs for 2009

Increase outreaches

Pay off building

2008 Accomplishments

Collected, distributed or re-directed 72,000,000 pounds of food and food products

Gave away 9 vehicles (including 3 buses) to needy ministries, pastors and clients

Hurricane Ike Relief: Furnished 28 residences with furniture and household goods. We have several clients awaiting help pending the time when they are able to move into a permanent residence.

We supported numerous outreaches in the greater Houston area in conjunction with other churches and ministries.

Mexico Outreach: We provided 2 buses to a mission in Reynosa. We carried food, clothing and household goods to five missions in Mexico. We provided food, clothing, toys, household goods and personal sanitation products to the Orphanage de San Francisco.

Teen Challenge of Texas: We have provided clothing, food, furniture and Christmas presents to the organization and its residents.

Worked with Christian Temple of House at their annual Health Fair and provided the shampoo and hair conditioner for the hair cut area..

Thanksgiving: Helped individual families and a small number of outreaches.

Christmas:  A toy drive was sponsored by Kroger store at Belway 8 and Sabo Road. This allowed us to provide 2 toys each for 2,723 children. We drove to a tent city in Central Texas and gave 20 children new winter coats, socks and gloves. They were also given 2 presents apiece. Each child and adult in the "city" was given a new blanket.

We worked with other ministries to ship medical equipment and supplies to Kenya and the Philippines.

Forty cases of Bibles were shipped to Mexico and Kenya. In addition, Bibles were given to all persons who received food and other assistance, if needed.
